The "Down for a Ride 2023" motorcycle run is coming up on SUNDAY, JUNE 11th! See information about the ride below. We encourage CIDSO members to join us at the end of the ride at OZ'Z Bar in Creve Coeur, beginning at 3:00. Its so helpful to visit with those who register for and participate in the ride -- some will not know anyone with Down syndrome. It's a chance for us all to be ambassadors and spread awareness. While it may not sound like a family-friendly event, I can assure you that all are welcome and will be comfortable there. We will have tickets for our members to have a sandwich and a (non-alcoholic) beverage at the event.

VOLUNTEERS from CIDSO are needed to help with registration in the morning and for the silent auction/raffles at the end. Please contact Angela Hedican (teamhedican@comcast.net)  for more information.

Calling all Homies! Join us for a 125-mile ride to raise awareness for Down Syndrome sponsored by Walters Brothers Harley Davidson. All proceeds go to help Central Illinois Down Syndrome Organization (CIDSO www.cidso.org) so they can continue their mission of supporting and providing educational services to families who have been touched by Down Syndrome in the McClean County Area.

Registration will be from 9 - 10:30 at American Legion Post 1276 with a 10 AM raffle for those present.

This is a ride at your own pace /group’s pace. Our stops will be:

2. AJ’s Lounge, 324 Front St, Benson, IL 61516

3. Fat Alberts, 106 E Gridley Rd, Gridley, IL 61744

4. Merna Tap, 15989 North 2300 East Road, Merna, IL, 61761

5. Sit N Bull, 209 Front, Hudson, IL 61748

6. OZ’Z Bar, 216 Marquette St, Creve Coeur, IL. We will be at OZ’Z from 3:00 to 6:00

PM. Raffle, auction, and raffle baskets will start at 3:45 PM

This will be a poker STYLE run. Be sure to make ALL the stops and get your card stamped. All stamped cards will be eligible for an end of ride $$$ prize for those present..

Each stop will have their own specials so make sure to check them out!
